EVA-10 Report
Elia Husiatynski Reporting

EVA team consisted of Dave, Brent and Mark with Elia at Habcomm.

This EVA headed north via Lowell Hwy, then west and northwest into the wash leading to Muddy Creek, from this wash via the Badland Labyrinth and another wash leading to Muddy Creek to Coal Mine Wash. From there it was planned to explore Coal Mine Wash in western direction (upwards) and take the southern branch going to Skyline Rim Road. The final goal was to drive southwards towards Factory Butte and find a way up to its base. An additional option - if time allowed - was to have a look at the mine at the northern brach of Coal Mine Wash.

Post EVA Debrief:

Team was not able to make it all the way to Factory Butte due to the simulation "walk back" safety constraint. They had to turn around and start to make their way back after getting as close as 3 km. They scouted additional drilling sites for Mark's experiment tomorrow on their return trip. After returning to the Habitat area they retrieved and deployed various experiments.
