EVA-8 Report
Petra Rettberg Reporting
EVA Team: Elia and Simone Habcom: Petra Rettberg
Today a very short pedestrian EVA was planned, because it is Sunday and it is our first day off during our mission. The EVA is necessary to bring some of the biological samples from Simone and Eliah back into the hab to finish their exposure to the ambient environmental conditions according to the previously designed time schedule. The EVA started with the prebreathing in the airlock at 11:28h and ended 12:56h with a duration of 1h 28 min. In total 15 samples of halophilic archaea exposed in suspension at 5 different locations near the hab were collected.
