EVA Report
Mark Moran Reporting

Today, April 28th, 2003, MDRS conducted its first EVA. The EVA sortie was carried out by Petra, Simone, and Elia. Mark Moran served as HabComm. Egress from the airlock occurred at 1136 hours MT.

At 1140 hours MT, the three crew proceeded to sample sites. The EVA successfully deployed 21 experimental units for Simone and Elia's experiment. They also deployed Petra's P1-P5 Dosimetry experiments at 1230 hours.

At 1306 MT the crew claimed to have detected the "space weasel." Evidently Elia almost fell victim. They returned to the Hab and ingressed into the airlock at 1322 MT. The airlock was repressurized 1324-1329 MT and the EVA concluded safely.
