Log Book for March 21, 2003
Commander's Check-In
David Fuller Reporting

Time Returned: 17:30

Completed one EVA: Jody and April went north along the road for 16 km, investigated 3 sites, driving two ATVs.

Crew Physical Status: All crew in good spirits and no physical complaints. I was expecting sore muscles form the long trek yesterday, but the only complaints were a little tightness.

Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: Drove to the north end of Cow Dung Rd, observed the landscapes from east to north. Collected samples at three locations between the Hab and the northern point, and worked on stratigraphy of the upper Morison Formation.

Plans for Tomorrow: Will scout possible EVA sights for the Discovery Canada film team, participate in the webcam and IRC activities at University of Michigan Mars discovery day.

Report Transmission Schedule: All reports will be in by 10 pm MST, if possible. As usual, reports will be transmitted as they become available.

Maintenance: Still on backup generator, waiting for main Generac to be repaired. All ATVs run, but only 2 keys available.

EVA Narrative/Data/Interpretations: TBS

Inventory: Food supplies remain adequate.

Miscellaneous: None.
