Generator/Electricity: The gasoline generator was filled at 6.30am and again at 6pm (we are getting over 11 hrs operating time out of the full tank). The oil was also topped up. This generator continues to be the main source of power for the Hab.

Today we liaised with the Everest Rovers support team at the University of Michigan as to the viability of powering the full Hab off the Rovers diesel generator as opposed to the current gasoline one. However after our discussion they recommended that the Rovers generator would not be suitable to power the full Hab, so we will not implement this and just continue to use it to power the fridge / Hab PC.

Water: Transferred 42 gallons at 8am this morning

GreenHab: After Mondays reconnaissance and consultation with MDRS Support no further action will be taken on the GreenHab

Telescope: Nothing done with it at present - we will investigate it during our tour of duty.

Everest Rover: The Rover generator has been running all day, no problems. It was brought into Hanksville today to fill up the fuel tanks.

Computers: All machines and networks are running well.

Additional Activities: David and April drove the F350 to Green River for a maintenance overhaul which included: four new tyres, new battery, oil and filter change and air filter change. The vehicle appears to be running smoothly now.

Larry visited the Hab this afternoon and filled our empty 55gal drum of gasoline and all the jerry cans. He said he would return on Saturday to address the Habs water supply needs.

Derek built a new battery charger for the EVA suits so that it is no longer necessary to remove and open the plastic boxes from the backpacks. Tim carried out maintenance on all the Habs communications units and headsets. The current EVA equipment status is 6 EVA suits, 5 backpacks, 4 visor helmets and 3 working headsets. These figures limit immediate EVAs to 3 persons. However work is underway to fix a fourth headset.
