Log Book for February 15, 2003
General Engineering Report
Jean Lagarde Reporting
Generator/Electricity: (it only contains today's report now). lts steady at 15 vdc.
Propane Tanks: #1 tank (North side) is at 7.5%. #2 tank (South side) is at 34%. The furnace tank is currently at 55%.
Water: The inner tank was not refilled today, it started the day at about 50 gallons and is now at 25. The outside main storage tank was refilled today by Larry Ekker.
Did not realize we were tracking the Hobbs meter as well. Will fill that field the next time. Larry Ekker showed up later in the morning and did an oil and filter change. I stayed with him to see how it was done.
I have briefed the few other engineers on the crew on how to do the generator check, and we will all go through the process together tomorrow morning so we're all trained. We have assigned one person and a backup to do the check every day.
Additional Activities: No other major engineering activities today. We are getting aquainted with the MDRS's systems.
