Hab Upgrade Report
Emily Colvin Reporting
Today was a very frustrating day. I successfully plugged in the Weather Station to the computer, and it is getting data. Don dropped off the parts for the GSM when he came by with Liftport. As soon as I got a chance, I headed out to the generator to install it. Jan and I got everything installed and almost everything bolted down (we needed smaller screws from Don for one of the relays) just as Don got there to test it. We got the last bit bolted in and started running tests. Which didn't work. We established that we can turn the blue light on and off with the inverter, and hear a relay click. And that was the total effect it had. Don will be looking at the diagrams tonight and we'll probably continue troubleshooting tomorrow.
Anne successfully finished the organization and cleaning of the engineering area. It looks much better. She even built a little shelf to hold the nail and screw boxes. Pictures will be uploaded to the WebDAV.
Today, we also added another project to the dry erase board of engineering projects. Anne and I are going to install the float switch for the potable water tank in the loft. From an IT perspective, we're also trying to clean out the hab email account so it can be used again.
I'll be inside again tomorrow, and will try to get some of the power meter stuff straightened out. The GSM pretty much occupied my time today and I'm absolutely exhausted.
