Human Factors Report
Veronica A. Zabala-Aliberto Reporting
The F.L.A.M.E. crew has been very busy with the up-keeping of the Mars Desert Research Station. The younger members of the crew are just now experiencing bouts of boredom in which they have eaten all of their junk food and played all their video games repeatedly. Two of the younger members have started to quarrel for they share crew quarters and one seems to not keep up their belongings in their quarters. The older of the younger members has resorted to stay in her quarters so she does not have to hear the other two quarrel.
The older members of the crew have an excellent working bond who mix work with humor. This has increased productivity and crew relations. There have been no derogatory comments between crew members and each stick to their own tasks and even helps others with theirs. Some examples of the past week have been: painting the MDRS, willingness to learn others disciplines in the field, and just an eagerness to help with hab chores. There also seems to be a bond between the younger members of the crew and that of the older crew members. They laugh, play, and sing constantly. This is, in part, the reason why there has been an issue of keeping to the wake/sleep cycle for a martian day of 24 hours and 39 minutes. We have so much fun...it is hard to say "Good Night".
Tomorrow will be the last full night that we will have to spend time together. After that, we will go our separate ways. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the hopes that what we have accomplished here on mars will encourage us to move forward with our goals of exploring the Moon, Mars and beyond.
