Journalist Report
Todd Romberger Reporting

This morning the crew woke up at about 7:40 to enjoy a egg and sausage breakfast courtesy of Commander Veronica. After a breakfast table briefing and some dish cleaning the crew began to get ready for the day's activities. Veronica, Gino, and Todd headed out on a partial sim geology excursion to Comet Tail Rock. Taking samples at several sites along the way, Veronica explained to Todd what they were looking at and gave a few tips for collecting samples and deciphering the landscape and it's history. This was Todd's first full sim EVA.

Meanwhile, Stacy and Menkes went on an EVA to do reconnaissance on the fossil bed Stacy will be studying this week. Initial observations were that the fossil bed was much larger than expected. Communications between the two EVA teams were tested several times and were functioning perfectly. The crew was busy in the afternoon cleaning the Hab for the arrival of media tomorrow. Crew 46 is looking forward to a another great day tomorrow with plans for another EVA and some ATV training.
