Geology Report
Veronica Ann Zabala-Aliberto Reporting
Crew Training: The F.L.A.M.E. crew was introduced to the hazards of field investigation. The crew learned how to collect samples, how much, and in which regions of geologic and astrobiologic interests are important. Further field investigations will continue this week for all crew members.
For this upcoming week, the crew will learn how to process images from the Mars Global Surveyor and Mars Exploration Rovers through Adobe Photoshop and how to create their own images with captions and scales for measure to compare and contrast terrestrial finds from those found on Mars.
The CDR will encourage all crew members initiate short presentations concerning their science projects to brief the other crew members with their research as well as to participate in each other’s EVAs to better understand both terrestrial and planetary sciences.
