Log Book for March 13, 2006
Engineering Report
Menkes van den Briel & Todd Romberger Reporting

Generator/Electricity:

Casper: not used

Wendy Hobbs Meter: 3006.5 hrs
Voltage: 120 VAC
Frequency: 62 Hz
Oil Level: 7/8
Oil Pressure: 32 PSI
Water Drained: yes

Xantrex Inverter/Dynasty Batteries:
Time - Voltage (Temp Comp) - Load - Temp - Generator Running?

05:15 - 23.3 - 03 - 05 - OFF
05:30 - 26.3 - 05 - 05 - ON
07:40 - 24.5 - 05 - 06 - ON
08:35 - 24.0 - 03 - 06 - OFF
08:56 - 23.9 - 03 - 05 - OFF
10:30 - 23.0 - 17 - 06 - OFF
11:40 - 23.2 - 06 - 06 - OFF
13:40 - 23.1 - 04 - 06 - OFF
13:55 - 26.9 - 11 - 06 - ON
14:08 - 26.5 - 14 - 06 - ON
16:14 - 24.6 - 11 - 08 - ON
17:15 - 23.9 - 06 - 08 - OFF
18:15 - 23.6 - 07 - 08 - OFF

Notes/Comments: Xantrex seems to be loosing synchronization with Wendy and the result is that it fails to charge completely. It does charge the batteries but stops after an undetermined amount of time. When it stops charging the LEDs that read "bulk" and "float" are off. We are getting used to its behavior and seem to be okay in keeping the hab running in its current condition. Also, the Xaxtrex error LED is blinking when the inverter is running on the batteries. James, however, already fixed this problem by setting the generator on OFF in the generator menu 02A.
