EVA Report
Guido Meyer & William Fung-Schwarz Reporting

Destination Name: 1.5 kilometer north/northeast of the Habitat (Hab Ridge along Skyline Rim).

EVA Goals:
  1. To continue EVA and ATV training for Guido Meyer.
  2. To learn how to cope with uneven territory, how to drive and how to uphill, downhill, and backwards.
  3. To conduct re-familiarization drill for William.
  4. To collect sound bites and photos for continuing radio coverage in the German media.
Results: All goals accomplished.

Special Notes: Refuse collection in the desert was conducted on this EVA. Several items from Hab Ridge were brought back the Moonbase area for disposal.

Waypoints: No GPS utilized, awaiting the crewmember Ben Huset (who will be doing the GPS training and familiarization).

Species Identified/Samples Collected: No geological samples were collected. A species of flattened-padded desert cacti were found to be prolific in the area visited (general Opuntia).

Lessons Learned: Don't forget the sunscreen (William!)
