Peter Kokh Reporting

Team, to build in a "T" for future expansion. As our original parts requisition had not allowed for this, and as the winds picked up, we decided to make another supply run. We had seen for ourselves yesterday that the Green River stores at L1 did not have everything we needed. Further, Leslie Wickman who is working on the GreenHab project, needed filters unavailable at L1 also. So together, we rocketed off to the L5 Price outpost, another hour's flight in each direction. We arrived home late, as CapCom was signing off, but with everything on our lists.

William and Guido went on an EVA today with two of the ATVs. It was perfect weather for this. Later, he assisted Guido in producing another of his daily radio reports for German audiences.

Laurel is feeling much better, and resumed meal preparation to the delight of all. We are amazed at how well we are adjusting to this protein - and fiber-enriched vegetarian diet. But Laurel loads everything with robust flavor.

Steven continues to keep all the utility systems humming. We had a resupply of propane today, needed for the range, hot water heating and general heat, which we need less and less of each day.

By now all members of the crew have had a chance to enjoy the dark, star-emblazoned skies. We near the end of week one in good spirits.
