Log Book for February 28, 2006
Commander's Check-In
Peter Kokh Reporting

EVA: We had a second EVA today, with William and Guido suiting up again for ATV training in the area between the Hab and Phobos Peak.

Crew Physical Status: One crew member continues to have a cough but it is getting no worse and he has felt well enough to work a full schedule every day. We were threatened with rain today, but so far have had no more than Hab-shaking winds capable of sandblasting exposed skin, limiting activities this afternoon to indoor projects.

Plans for tomorrow: In the morning, ongoing outdoor projects will continue, weather permitting, meaning if it does not rain in the interim. Rain is always followed by mud, there being no vegetation to speak of to fix the soil. If possible construction will continue on the tunnel. Leslie will be working in the GreenHab and various projects will continue indoors. We are anxious to begin Sim-Lite, but will tell you all about that when we start.

Report Transmission Schedule:

1. Commander's check in 1900 pm (actually 2015 pm)
2. HSO Report 2000
3. Engineering Report 2000
4. Photographs whenever the network allows

Maintenance: All utilities continue to perform within normal parameters. Steven is a happy camper.

Support Requested: None.
