Biology Report
John Thaler Reporting
Eight samples from saline environments were collected on an EVA to Candor Chasma. The vegetation was much more pronounced in Candor Chasma than the area around the Hab. The valley appears to be a collection point for water from the surrounding area and may represent slightly more humid environment than the areas previously sampled. This is promising in terms of the viability of microbial life.
