Log Book for February 16, 2006
Journalist Report
Kevin Sandell Reporting

The day started early with a 3:00 am water pump issue. The internal tank ran dry which caused the pressure pump to run continuously and got quite warm. We put enough water in the tank to pressurize the system which is now functioning normally.

As we were a little behind schedule and everyone was feeling a little more tired, it was decided to skip the morning yoga session.

We had breakfast and moved right into the morning training on the HERMES system by Ryan, in preparation for the days EVA's. Today was our first day in Full-Sim mode. The weather today was mostly sunny and the winds diminished to a light breeze.

The entire crew was out today in two separate EVA's. Our first interaction with the Data Loggers, check out the EVA reports for more information.

We are back onto a normal shower schedule, our water usage is sufficient for the grey water system.

The crew is doing great, no more sports injuries to report.
