Health & Safety Report
Kevin Sandell Reporting

As part of crew morale and physical fitness, morning yoga has become a daily event.

Morning exercise

Two minor injuries to report. Both were abrasions, one to the hand and one to the underside of the chin. Treated with antibiotic ointment from the first aid kit.

The abrasion to the chin occurred during morning exercises.

Mis-judged landing on a behind-the-back-clapping push-up
(and crew's reaction to the skull-bounce)

The abrasion to the hand occurred while descending down to the lower level to start the generator at 6:30am after exhausting the main batteries. An isolated battery backup lighting system in key areas like the ladder to the lower level may prevent similar accidents from happening in the future.

Supplies Used:
  • small amount of antibiotic ointment
  • 1 cotton swab
