Notes/Comments: The puddle area was fairly dry today. Either the leak was a false alarm or it is a slow leak and will take a few days to build back up. Either way it sounds like good news.

GreenHab: Working on replacing aeration bucket for grey water.

  • Before watering, soil is generally firm but damp.
  • All dead leaves were removed.
  • As instructed by previous crew, plants sprayed with 20:80 bleach-water solution to kill insects.
  • More soil/fertilizer may be required for plants since soil is shrinking away from the pot wall.
  • Plants which are watered with compost mix are showing best results.

HVAC: The heater quit working in the afternoon. There was a blinking light (which indicates a polarity problem) and we cycled it three times without effect. Later on we lowered the thermostat, which had been kicked up to 80, and that somehow restored the heater.
