Log Book for May 13, 2005
Health & Safety Summary
Sheryl Bishop Reporting

At the end of 13 days of isolation and confinement, the crew is healthy and in good spirits. The crew safely accomplished 25 EVAs with only a minor fall during an EVA resulting in hip abrasions. We had one case of a severe migraine headache requiring a telemed consult with Mission Support Medical Director Tam Czarnik that was satisfactorily resolved.

A complete inventory of the medical supplies in all first aid kits, shelf containers, and ziplock bags was completed. Notable missing equipment includes a thermometer. The bottle of Gatoraid specifically marked for medical rehydration was opened during treatment of the migraine and discarded at the end of the mission. We suggest a better flavor of rehydration liquid than the red Gatoraid..:).

Due to the lengthy and detailed nature of the medical inventory (expiration dates, quantity, amounts, etc.), it will be sent as both an Excel attachment and a text file to Mission Support and Tam Czarnik.
