Christyne Legault Reporting
We started the day with a magnificent conference with the students at the Canadian Space Agency. One of the crew members, Christyne from Canada, made it possible for fifty students to participate in the mission by bringing their experiments here to Mars.
Despite not having sound for the web conference, we could feel the energy and the excitement of the students. All the Mona Lisa crew members had a chance to say hello to the camera, wonderful! The students had many questions about the mission.
In the afternoon, one of the EVA teams went to the Lith canyon to explore the area. They found what we believe are bones from a dinosaur. The second crew on EVA set up one of the students’ experiments, the Aeolian energy system, on one of the cliffs beside the base. Afterwards, they went to the Mona Lisa canyon to measure the strata sequence of one of the cliffs.
