Commander's Check-In
Anne Pacros Reporting
Weather: Very windy and overcast, highs around 65F.
Crew Physical Status: Nothing to report.
Brief Narrative of Today's Results: Web conference with Christyne’s students at the Canadian Space Agency; long EVA to Lith Canyon; experiments on filling in a stratigraphy form in spacesuits and on helmets field of view.
The Schedule: Breakfast 9 am; Web conference 9:45 am; EVAs from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm then experiment on helmets field of view inside the Hab.
EVA: 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, EVA 17 to Lith Canyon: we believe we found dinosaur bones and petrified wood (see EVA report); 4:00 to 5:30 pm, EVA 18 to install a small aeolien outside the hab (student experiment) and to conduct stratigraphy in the Mona Lisa canyon.
Report Transmission Schedule: Commander check-in, Engineering report, 2 EVA reports, Geology report, daily log.
Maintenance: Nothing to report (for once! :-))
Inventory: Nothing to report.
Plans for Tomorrow: More EVAs; email interview for Discovery channel; test of the air conditioners in the Hab if the temperatures are warmer than today!
Miscellaneous: Nothing to report.
Support Requested: We are almost running out of… Nutella!!! Please send a resupply cargo ship as soon as possible!!! :-)
