Commander's Check-In
Anne Pacros Reporting

Weather: Very windy day, highs around 70F.

Crew Physical Status: nothing to report.

Brief Narrative of Today's Results: Morning EVA to Mona Lisa canyon; outside pictures of the Hab for engineering documentation; afternoon EVA to Candor Chasma; pictures of the lab for RST documentation.

The Schedule: Breakfast 9 am; EVAs from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.

EVA: 10:30 am to 12:40 pm: EVA 14, accomplished 5 CRV tests in the Mona Lisa canyon; it was also a good test about using the CRV in windy conditions! 1:15 to 2:15 pm: EVA 15, around the Hab to take pictures to document the status of the Hab. 2:40 to 4:00 pm, EVA 16 to Chandor Chasma for geology exploration.

Report Transmission Schedule: Commander check-in, Engineering report, 3 EVA reports, Geology report, daily log.

Maintenance: Fixed and mended PLSS#2; fixed PLSS#5; all PLSS are now working! And main generator (Casper) is up and running again, hurrah!

Inventory: Wire solder has been found.

Plans for Tomorrow: Web conference with the Canadian Space Agency at 9:45 am; experiment on measuring the field of view of the different kinds of helmets; experiment about filling in a stratigraphy form in spacesuits (could not be conducted today because of the wind).

Miscellaneous: nothing to report.
