Christyne Legault Reporting

Day 4, two extravehicular activities (EVAs) both 45 minutes each way on the all terrain vehicles (ATV). Destination: Candor Chasma, a canyon with a lot of spectacular geology specimens! And the landscape, marvellous! We could observe some desert plants because it has been raining every evening since we have been here. The first EVA team found a nice steep cliff wall of the canyon which would give the second crew a chance to test the Cliff Reconnaissance Vehicle (CRV).

Because we started the first EVA mission early in the morning, and the second had to return early because of rain, it gave us all a chance to finish our reports early so we can watch a movie tonight. Wow! The first evening off for the crew 40 Mona Lisa, since the beginning of the mission.
