Health & Safety Report
Sheryl Bishop Reporting

A minor facial cut on the forehead was sustained by a crewmember from plastic shards produced when a bungee cord holding the equipment box in place on an ATV broke and smashed an egg-sized hole in a helmet face mask. Sunglasses protected her eyes from the debris. Her injury did not compromise the EVA mission and upon return to base, the cut was disinfected and treated with antibiotic ointment.

Another crewmember is still combating a head cold and it was decide that she should not participate in EVAs for the day. She is treating the attendant symptoms with OTC medications of her own and from the HAB supplies.

All of the other crewmembers are in good health and all in good spirits after a full day of EVAs.
