Log Book for May 1, 2005
Commander's Check-In
Anne Pacros Reporting

Weather: Rainy in the morning, afternoon nicer but still overcast. High temperatures around 60F.

Crew Physical Status: all fine but one crewmember has a little bit of a cold.

Brief Narrative of Today's Results: This day was out of sim as we were busy getting to know the hab systems, and practice maintenance stuff especially the generator.

The Schedule: The Leonardo crew left around 9 am. Then we had a morning briefing were everybody presented their projects: the spacesuits comparison, the student experiments from Canada, the CRV, the geological studies and the psychosociological studies. Then after lunch some of us worked on the generator issues (see engineering report) while the others cleaned and organized the lab downstairs. Finally we all practiced riding the ATV without spacesuits.

EVA: none, not in full sim yet.

Report Transmission Schedule: Commander check in 7 pm, Engineering report.

Maintenance: Gen problems: see engineering report, now everything seems to be fixed. GreenHab: Tank 5 low, we will try to use more water tonight.

Inventory: None of the crewmembers had a GPS to bring along. Where can we find the Hab GPS?

Plans for Tomorrow: start full sim; first geology studies; first CRV test weather permitting.

Miscellaneous: Thank you crew 36 for the nice present you sent us!

Support Requested: none.
