Log Book for April 23, 2005
Commander's Check-In
Ricardo Patrício Reporting

Weather: clear vis; low 12.8C (55F), high 23.9C (75), 22% (dry), clear sky but getting a bit cloudy towadws the end of the day, warm spring day.

Crew Physical Status: all fine - nothing to report.

Brief Narrative of Today's Results: Over 90km on both EVAs combined. Pinpointed some geologic interesting spots. CRV tranportation engineering.

The Schedule: 8.15 wake up call, 10am EVA, 4pm EVA, papaerwork and CRV in the meantime; movie tonight (we got tangled on reports and updates last night...)

EVA: the longest EVA so far, over 3.5hours - geological survey all the way East of Cactus Road; Shorter afternoon EVA: charting previously uncharted 4WD tracks from Cactus Road to Pinto Hills.

Report Transmission Schedule: EVA reports, Engineering Report, and Daily Logs to be sent in later; Geology report sent.

Maintenance: fortunately, nothing to report.

Inventory: welder missing in the Hab - we could use that right now!

Plans for Tomorrow: time off; CRV and PDA work: attach them to ATV and suit, respectively.

Miscellaneous: night off today!

Support Requested: still the slow communication with Earth...
