Log Book for April 18, 2005
Commander's Check-In

Weather: clear; low 15.6C (60F), high 26.7C (80F), 7% (dry), sun burning hot, quite windy.

Crew Physical Status: jet lag seems to be overcomed by everyone, now. One crew member had a mild fast-going headache - all fine now.

Brief Narrative of Today's Results: CRV mounted and ready to be tested; huge amounts of webpage and reports updates. EVAs related experiments set-up. Started preparing for Canadian school outreach webcast.

The Schedule: 7.30 Rise and shine. CRV set up in the morning. Updates in the afternnon. Hatch closed at 0805pm MDT for full sim, just after a 6 person EVA.

EVA: Getting used to ATVs; EVAs for Beyond Productions TV. Explorations of the area. EVA with 6 persons.

Report Transmission Schedule: Enginnering Report and HSO sent, Daily Log - later.

Maintenance: The green hab is fine. Generator oil changed in the afternoon - we were running on batteries most of the day.

Inventory: Famous white bread loaf for dinner tonight. Towels shortage solved.

Plans for Tomorrow: EVAs for geology, CRV, and suit comparison; EVA suits mantainance. Thermal hardware preparation.

Miscellaneous: Hab heating not required anymore, as days are getting warmer.

Support Requested: Why do we get each email from Mission Support twice? What are the coordinates of the concretions found by Crew 36?
