Commander's Check-In

Weather: clear; low - (still going down), high 27C (81.3F), 10% (dry), sun burning hot.

Crew Physical Status: healthy, excited at arrival, concetrating on new tasks and challanges.

Brief Narrative of Today's Results: checked in yesterday with last crew and Bill; Today: unpacking equipment, getting used to new home and tasks. Set up of Mars Skins, first touch with roles, mantainance, and EVAs.

The Schedule: check in today at 1000h. Samples of saliva taken for group dynamic project.

EVA: 15min ride getting used to ATVs; EVAs for Beyond Productions TV. Few short explorations of the area.

Report Transmission Schedule: Engineering Report.

Maintenance: The green hab is fine. Generator was shut down at 1630h.

Inventory: Missing table towel, hand paper towels.

Plans for Tomorrow: morning with Beyond Productions TV; Full sim starts around noon.

Miscellaneous: Everyone is pretty excited about the place and anxious to start working on the sim.

Support Requested: Oil for the generator is supposed to be changed tomorrow. WeŽd like to use the observatory (Remon already requested that).
