Log Book for April 8, 2005
GreenHab Report
Liam Pedersen Reporting

Overview: GreenHab is functioning, but is in poor shape. Tank 5 level is persistently low (< 50%), but shows slight improvement over the last couple days. Toilet supply tank is filling normally, from Tank 4. Plants are still not dead.

Grey-Water Level: The grey-water holding tank is ~ 50%.

General Comments: The power supply and switches for the grey-water holding tank needs clarification. An operations manual with updated plumbing and wiring diagrams. The TST pump burned out because tank 5 emptied. There should be a sensor to prevent it pumping a tank dry and burning itself out. Perhaps a float similar to the grey water holding tank. I'm eternally grateful to the person who left rubber gloves available in the GreenHab. The effluent is nasty. Rick Alena will be taking over from me as GreenHobbit as of tomorow. Thank you to all the mission support people who chipped in with advice.
