Log Book for March 25, 2005
Commander's Check-In
Jan Osburg Reporting

EVA: we had four [sic] EVAs today: EVA09 was an emergency in-sim troubleshooting mission to the GreenHab, which took place shortly after midnight. EVA10 was a follow-up effort during the daytime. EVA11 tested APRS in the close vicinity of the hab, and EVA12 was another long-range EVA to the Family Crest waypoint, this time with a fully-operational APRS (yay!)

Crew Physical Status: tired but happy

Brief Narrative of Today's Results: The main event today was a scheduled visit from a History Channel team that stayed with us all day to get footage and do interviews for a planned special in their "Modern Marvels" series. It was a lot of work - but fun at the same time - to say the same things several times over until they had all the versions they needed. And did I mention we also had four EVAs?

Plans for Tomorrow: We plan to take it a bit easier (yeah, right) and prepare the balloon and climber robot for the start of the field trials next week.

Report Transmission Schedule: hopefully within the next hour

Maintenance: extensive GreenHab troubleshooting and maintenance took place; see engineering report

Inventory: we feel like we have everything we need

Miscellaneous: lots of miscellaneous things happened, but nothing specific enough to report

Support Requested: none at the moment

More to follow.
