EVA Crew: Doug, Rebecca
Hab Comm: Jan
Planned Route: MDRS - Generator area - Greenhab - area SE and S of hab - MDRS
Timeline:
Don Suits: 1015

Ingress: 1209
Enter Hab: 1214
New Waypoints Established (Details See Excel Database): n/a
Narrative: The EVA crew stopped first at the generator area to drop off the trash waiting in the front airlock. The crew then moved to the GreenHab, where Rebecca watered the plants in the aft portion and relayed the water levels in Tank 5 and the TST back to the hab. Rebecca also showed Doug and John the daily procedure that will be followed regarding the care of the GreenHab plants. The EVA crew then took more soil readings. Following completion of these measurements, the crew headed east in order to approach the hab from the southeast direction. Doug operated the PID, and all readings were recorded by John and Rebecca.
EVA-6
Objectives: fix GreenHab water levels, collect more PID waypoints
EVA Team:
EVA Commander: Rebecca Fink
EVA Navigator: Kyle Brewer
EVA Crew: Heidi Anderson, Kyle Brewer
Hab Comm: Jan Osburg
Planned Route: MDRS - GreenHab - area N and NE of hab - MDRS
Timeline:
Don Suits: 1600 MST
Enter Airlock: 1615 MST
Egress: 1620 MST
Ingress: 1745 MST
Enter Hab: 1750 MST
New Waypoints Established (Details See Excel Database): N/A
Narrative: The EVA crew first went to the GreenHab to examine the tank water levels and attempt to refill the TST by placing the pump from Tank 5 into Tank 4. However, it was determined that the float switch in the TST was not turning on the pump, so the pump was replaced in Tank 5 with no additional work performed. At 1635 the crew headed directly north from the hab, taking PID samples along the way. After the northernmost sample was taken, the EVA crew turned east in order to return to the hab from the northeast. The crew then proceeded back toward the hab along the northeast diagonal, taking samples along the way. The hab was reached around 1735 MST, where the crew performed a few outdoor tasks including examining the gray water tank and the wind and weather sensors. The EVA ended with all objectives accomplished at 1750 MST.
