Log Book for March 10, 2005
Executive Officer's Check-In
Stacy Sklar Reporting
All is well at the Desert Station tonight's dinner is chili cheese hot dogs. Today was Crew 36 fifth day at MDRS. The crew is in better health today with only one crew member still feeling under the weather.
Due to high winds and extensive structural damage to the ARV during yesterday's landings and today's repairs the Red Flyer will fly no more.
The crew is disappointed but are thrilled by the images they have received. Even with the limited amount of data preliminary analysis has already begun and will be presented at the Mars Society Conference in August.
The day was filled with catching up on research work and outside engineering duties.
Reports of tonight include:
- XO Check-In (This report)
- Engineering Report
- Commander's Log
Tomorrow's Plans: The crew plan to continue analysis, perform the final EVA northwest of the hab, work on final/summary reports, cleaning of lab area, attend to some outside engineering duties, and star gaze (since tomorrow will be the last day for the four engineers of the crew).
