Engineering Report
Kari Cheek & Mark Hernquist Reporting

Gasoline Generator
Gasoline Consumption: 10 gallons since 4 p.m.
Oil Level: good - We changed the oil at 1 p.m. due to a power outage when the generator ceased to operate. This is the second time this week that the generator has failed. The time between this oil change and the last was only about 27 hours. This is a serious issue.
* Please note -- There is a sticker on the generator that mentions that the oil should be checked every five hours. We also noticed that the oil needed to be changed after only 24 hours as opposed to the 100 hours in which we were told to change it. Perhaps, due to the fact that it is a new engine, this is only a temporary measure.

Propane Tank Level: 70%

Water:
Outside Water Level: 117 gallons remaining
Inside Water Tank Reading: 47 gallons remaining
Water Consumption: 60 gallons consumed
** Note -- There were four showers taken today

GreenHab:
Grey-Water Level: 50%
Comments: The water level in tank #5 has increased to approximately 40% which is a 35% increase from yesterday's level. This is partly due to the fact that we added a bit of water to it. Tanks 3 and 5 both have bubbles. This was not expected because they are anaerobic. Although the toilet supply tank is 50% full, the toilet has ceased to flush. We have been manually flushing the toilet by adding buckets of water to it. This is a necessary measure to maintain sanitary conditions.

HVAC: There is nothing new to report.

Transportation: We are still waiting for instructions for changing the oil and belts on the ATVs. ATV #2 is still not functioning.

Mars-Suits: Suit #2 has been fixed; the anomaly occurred due to a loose fuse.

Computers & Network: There is nothing new to report.

Data Logger: Kari and Amber investigated the HOBO weather station today. The batteries were replaced, but further investigation proved that the batteries had been fully functioning. After an extensive search into the issue, it was discovered that the station was not linked to the computer on which the software had been installed. There will be more investigation into this issue at a later date.
