Log Book for March 8, 2005
Executive Officer's Check-In
Stacy Sklar Reporting

Today was Crew 36 second day at MDRS and as of today we are now officially in sim.

Today all crewmembers were familiarized with EVA and ATV procedures. For more details see EVA Report.

Crew is in good spirits despite the last 24 hours of set backs. For more details see Commander's Log.

Are plans for tomorrow include flying the ARV in simulation (if the wind speeds diminish), photo documentation of a usual sandstone unit south of the hab (previously documented by the X-Alpha Crew), and the crew will attempt to resurrect the HOBO weather station.

Reports of tonight include:
  1. XO Check-In
  2. HSO Report
  3. EVA Report
  4. Engineering Report
  5. Commander's Log
Personal Thoughts: Even with the plane crash and generator failure I am anxious to see what the rest of the rotation will have in store. I am very optimistic! Then again I was so excited that we as a team figured out what was wrong with the generator and fixed it with out any help from our local guide!
