Log Book for March 7, 2005
Health & Safety Report
Amber Church Reporting

HSO Briefing and BSIC: Both of these tasks were accomplished today and the BSIC will be sent at the same time as this HSO report.

Crew Health: Many of the crew are suffering from a cold. In order to combat this we are trying to get some more sleep and keep well hydrated so that we can kick them before they start to effect our research. Since most of the crew had long distances to travel to reach MDRS everyone is still very tired from their trips so we have taken it relatively easy today.

ARV: There have been some safety concerns raised in relation to the propeller of the ARV and the possibility that it could detatch and seriously injure someone. As a precaution we are making sure that everyone on EVA is standing clear of the propeller while the ARV is in operation.
