Commander's Check-In
Kevin Sloan Reporting
Crew Status: All 6 crew members continue to be rather fatigued. Longer EVAs under the hot sun are accounting for this. This also explains why this check in is late, as the commander was passed out from the EVA today.
Daily Recap: Continuing to work hard, despite being drained, today's highlight was EVA 12. This EVA completed the sixth geology RST directed mission, which featured the crew's first PEV venture. After driving to the entrance to Coal Mine Wash, Dennis, Ryan and Kevin hiked in about 1.6 kilometers through a beautiful canyon system. The sun's intensity has been brutal during the last couple of days, as spring has definitely arrived in Utah. Amy, Daniel and Jason worked on smaller tasks at the Hab, resting up from their EVA yesterday.
Tomorrow's Plan: The crew will continue diving in to the longer and harder EVAs. Now that the RST directed EVAs left are much longer, only one per day may be possible to prevent the crew from becoming dangerously fatigued. This will also allow for the PSUMS rover to be tested soon.
Daily Reports: The standard reports should be in tonight by 21:30. The science and EVA reports will follow later tonight or early tomorrow.

Support Requested: The crew needs to know what should be done with the oil that must continuously be replaced in the diesel generator. For now it is being collected in a bucket that is quickly filling. Also, the crew has less than 1.75 quarts of oil remaining. This supply should be replenished soon.
