Log Book for March 1, 2004
GreenHab Report
Dennis Creamer Reporting

Readings:

Time: 15.10
Inside Temp: 77 F
Outside Temp: 67 F
Relative Humidity: 60%

Normal chores in the GreenHab were performed. The chores are pumping gray water into the tanks, watering the plants, taking pictures of the plants and taking temperature/moisture readings.

Measurements Taken:

Tank #1: pH = 8.8 Ammonia = 4.5-5 Nitrate = 20 Nitrite = 0
Tank #5: pH = 8.6 Ammonia = 0 Nitrate = 20 Nitrite = 0

Attempted pumping gray water to tanks, but was unable to get a significant flow. Confirmed water spraying onto bioballs.

One space heater was connected to the supplied timer. Pictures were taken of the toilet supply tank, Azolla and Lemna in buckets, and the BYU plants.

Needed information: Should both space heaters be plugged into the timer, and what should the coldest turn-on temperature be?
