Log Book for February 24, 2004
Commander's Check-In
Digby Tarvin Reporting

Crew Physical Status: The crewmember involved in the ATV accident yesterday is on light duties. The rest of the crew are in good health and all are in good spirits.

Brief Narrative of Mission Results: Today we were confined to the hab by an analogue sandstorm (rain) in the morning. We used the time to spring clean the wardroom and carry out an inventory of the engineering section. The weather cleared after lunch, so we mounted an ATV EVA to an area North East of the hab.

Plans for Tomorrow: Tomorrow we intend to conduct another EVA to an area yet to be determined if the weather is suitable, and are continuing to wait for clear skies for an observing opportunity. We also intend to schedule a local area cleanup if the weather is fine.

Report Transmission Schedule: The reports that are going to be sent this evening will be
  1. This check-in report.
  2. Commander's Report.
  3. 2 x EVA reports.
  4. Engineering report.
  5. Greenhab.
  6. Geology report
  7. Journalists report.
The reports will be submitted by 21:30 this evening.

Inventory: We are now down to 15 gallons of fuel for the ATVs.

Support Requested: No change.
